Solana QA Tester – Netrunner (Remote, LATAM)

The Role We are looking for a QA Tester with deep Solana knowledge to join our team and be the quality backbone of our releases. You’ll work closely with engineering and product to ensure our product is stable, polished, and reliable for everyday users. As our first dedicated QA team member, you will have a direct impact on the velocity of our releases, the confidence of our launches, and the trust we build with our users.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual test plans for new features, integrations, and regression testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs across environments (staging, production)
- Collaborate with engineers and product to clarify requirements and edge cases
- Reproduce, isolate, and report issues found by users to help speed up fixes
- Verify bug fixes and validate hotfixes before production deployment
- Contribute to defining QA processes, best practices, and checklists that improve release quality
- Monitor community Discord channels to identify trends and backtest user concerns
- Build automated UI testing suites (playwright, cypress)
- Experience testing async/background services/jobs
- Experience integrating test suites into github actions
- Experience with performance and load testing (k6 or jmeter)
- Familiarity with API security testing
Requirements
- Solana-native. IFKYK
- 2+ years of experience as a manual QA tester, preferably on consumer-facing web products
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and bug reporting
- Experience working in fast-paced, agile product teams (experience with Monday.com a plus)
- Based in LATAM, with strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Strong command with Web3 and crypto user flows (wallets, swaps, NFTs, DeFi, etc.)
- Exposure to or interest in crypto tax products and global financial markets
- Detail-oriented with a mindset for anticipating user behavior and edge cases
Nice to Have
- Experience testing financial, tax, or compliance-related products
- Basic familiarity with automation frameworks and willingness to grow into automation over time
- Experience using grafana or datadog to debug test failures
- Previous experience with crypto tax platforms (Koinly, CoinTracker, TokenTax, CryptoTaxCalculator, Awaken, etc.)
