Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be hands-on in designing, developing, and maintaining our product, while also influencing its architecture and technical direction. You will work within an agile team of skilled engineers, taking ownership of critical features and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of our systems. You will also mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and help improve development processes, all while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day coding.

Candidate Profile

  • Background in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant Rust experience.
  • Strong expertise with Rust tooling: build systems, package managers, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of blockchain architecture, Ethereum, or other decentralized protocols.
  • Proven ability to develop mission-critical features and navigate large, complex codebases.
  • Experience conducting and receiving code reviews, with focus on high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in Git and GitHub workflows.
    Familiarity with agile development processes, sprint planning, and backlog management.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Habit of writing thorough unit and integration tests.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cryptography or security, especially zero-knowledge proofs.
  • Understanding of compilers, virtual machines, or low-level systems.
    Previous work with go-ethereum (geth) or rust-ethereum (reth).
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Write, review, and maintain high-quality, production-level code for blockchain-related software and infrastructure.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from design through deployment and maintenance.
  • Contribute to architecture and design decisions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues in production systems.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices across the team.
  • Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions.
    Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and testing strategies.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to support production systems.
